Chak Yan Centre is one of the service institute of Society of Boys’ Centres, they provide specific care and dormitory for the juvenile boys who are neglected by their families and our society.
To carry out a thematic biannual programme, we worked closely with Chak Yan Centre team to develop an idea which tailor-made for the boys, and also conforms to their brand practice.
Chak Yan Centre as an interim secondary home for those neglected boys, their mission is to help them to rebuild positive social connection when they leave the centre.
To that end, “Goodwill Communication, We’re in Harmony” became the keynote and the core message of the entire programme.
We have created a witty yet amiable hand-drawn identity for the programme, in company with a series of avatars which embodies 5 different body and mind statuses.
In addition, to enhance the concept of “We’re in Harmony”, a big line drawing heart shaped space is designed which delineates a friendly and inclusive room, it is be of good use to a set of dormitory posters and programme leaflet.
This is an internal brand engagement programme to a certain extent, resonant with Chak Yan Centre’s purpose that benefits the neglected boys and their families. In fact, our society also gain positive impacts through them on the youth issues, particularly in education and the development of interpersonal relationship.
